Yes, your deposits remain FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, and per type of account ownership, such as individual, joint or trust accounts. If you had accounts at both Southern States and FirstBank, your funds will stay separately insured until January 1, 2026. CDs from Southern States Bank will also remain separately insured until their first maturity after July 1, 2025, unless renewed with different terms. Yes. Beginning Tuesday, September 2, please complete the steps on the Conversion Instructions, linked below. You will complete the deactivation/reactivation of your online banking connection to ensure that you get your current Quicken or QuickBooks accounts set up with the new connection at FirstBank.

Intuit aggregation services may be interrupted for up to 3-5 business days. Users are encouraged to download a QBO file during this outage. Please carefully review your downloaded transactions after completing the migration instructions to ensure no transactions were duplicated or missed on the register.
