Gena started her career in Banking in May 1988 and moved into the Investment business in 1991; after almost 31 years; she is excited to be a part of the FirstBank Family as their Director of FirstBank Investment Partners, SVP.

Gena has served as a Teller, Banker, Financial Advisor, Sr. Investment Advisor, Area & Regional Sales Manager, Producing Program Manager & National Sales Manager. Gena has served as a FINRA Arbitrator since 2002.

Gena was a 1998 President, former Vice President and Secretary of the Memphis Security Dealers Association and 1998 Affiliate President of Securities Traders Association of New York. Gena served as a Representative on the 2000 Primevest Financial Services (Cetera), Inc. East Region Advisory Board for over 650+ Banks and a 1997 Outstanding Young American and Outstanding Young Women of America recipient.

Gena holds her Series 7, 66, 24 and Life, A&D, Health & Variable Contracts Insurance Licenses. She attended Overton High School for Performing Arts, Memphis State University where she studied Business Management and completed all coursework for The Fundamentals of the Securities Industry through the New York Institute of Finance. Gena successfully passed her FINRA Arbitration exam in 2002.  She also attended Bill Good Marketing (Cold Call Cowboy Program) in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1994 and was a facilitator and attendee of Cohen Brown Sales Training in 1998.

Gena is the Chairman of the St. Louis Catholic School Board, the Secretary of the Steeplegate Homeowners Association, the Chairman of the Retirement Planning Committee for the City of Germantown and serves on the Finance Committee at Incarnation Catholic Church. She is a native Memphian and Married with two children.
