As Director of Marketing and Communications for FirstBank, Jeanie Rittenberry is responsible for marketing, communications, training and development at FirstBank. Her focus is on maintaining the integrity of FirstBank’s story and on creating a best-in-class talent development program in alignment with our mission, vision, and values.

Jeanie joined FirstBank in 2013 and quickly became an integral member of the executive team, playing a strategic role in helping FirstBank grow through organic growth and 6 different mergers.  Jeanie’s career highlights to date include her involvement in FirstBank’s initial public offering in 2016, the numerous awards that her team has won, as well as leading two significant naming rights deals – FirstBank Amphitheater in partnership with Live Nation and FirstBank Stadium in partnership with Vanderbilt University.

A well-rounded executive, Jeanie has 25 years of financial services experience, consulting with both community banks and Top 10 banks across the United States. Prior to joining FirstBank, she was Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing and Client Services for Memphis-based National Commerce Bank Services. Jeanie started her career at NCBS, a subsidiary of National Bank of Commerce (Memphis) prior to its merger with SunTrust, now Truist.

Jeanie is a graduate of the University of Memphis, Barret Graduate School of Banking, and CEO Connect, Lipscomb University’s executive leadership program. She serves as a Director for the Nashville Symphony and as Regent for the Barret Graduate School of Banking.  She is also an active volunteer with Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee, YMCA of Middle Tennessee, and is a member of 100 Women Who Care of Greater Nashville. A Tennessee native, Jeanie currently resides in Brentwood with her two children. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
