Renee G. “Winnie” Bunch

FirstBank Mortgage Director of Administration

As FirstBank Mortgage Director of Administration, Renee G. “Winnie” Bunch oversees functions for FirstBank Mortgage.

Prior to being named to the new position, created in August 2017, Winnie served as CFO of FirstBank since 1995 and was CFO of FirstBank Ventures for nearly two years.

She joined FirstBank in 1993 as accountant and director of internal audit. Previously, Winnie worked as a public accountant in Atlanta and as fiscal director for two large nonprofit agencies in Jackson, Tenn.

Winnie’s passion for nonprofit work continues as she volunteers and is a member of the advisory board for the Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center. She is also an active member of First United Methodist Church in Lexington. In addition, Winnie is a member of Tennessee Society of Certified Public Accountants.

She is a 1984 graduate of the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in business. Two years later, she received her CPA certification.

A native of Lexington, Tenn., Winnie enjoys reading, gardening and listening to music. A few of her favorite artists are Adele, Alicia Keys and John Mayer. If she weren’t in the banking industry, Winnie could see herself in a sales or service industry position where she would have the opportunity to work with the public.
