An Interview With Nathan Raines, Memphis, Tennessee Market President
What’s your story? Where did you grow up and have you always lived in Tennessee?
I grew up in Florence, Alabama; however, I have lived in the great city of Memphis, Tennessee since 2004.
How did you get into banking?
I started in banking immediately after I finished college and began my career as a financial analyst. Over the years I have worked in several roles primarily in commercial banking from working as a relationship manager, commercial group manager and finally as a market president.

What is your favorite part about your job?
Providing solutions to help our clients grow and to expand their businesses which ultimately helps our community grow.

My vision for FirstBank in Memphis is to be the go-to bank for businesses and business owners. We have a very strong commercial team that understands commercial lending and provides valuable advice to business owners to help them succeed.
