Travis Edmondson

Chief Banking Officer

Travis Edmondson began his banking career at Clayton Bank in 2006 and served in various roles before rising to Chief Executive Officer in 2012. Travis held the CEO position for five years until Clayton Bank merged with FirstBank. Travis joined the FirstBank team as the Knoxville Market President before being promoted to East Tennessee Regional President. In early 2020, Travis was named the Chief Banking Officer and is responsible for all banking activities across the FirstBank footprint including the retail, lending, and bank operations teams for over 80 locations across four states.

Travis is a graduate of East Tennessee State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, and the University of Tennessee College of Law, where he earned his juris doctorate.

An active member of the Knoxville community, Travis has served on the boards of numerous organizations including Big Brothers Big Sisters of East Tennessee, the Clayton Foundation, Junior Achievement of East Tennessee, Zoo Knoxville, Tennessee Bankers Association, and the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce. He is a 2017 graduate of Leadership Knoxville.

Travis and his wife, Kristin, reside in Knoxville with their three sons.
