FirstBank Investment Partners Adds Five New Team Members

KNOXVILLE – FirstBank Investment Partners, which provides wealth management and investment services to customers through LPL Financial, has hired five new team members who will be located FirstBank’s downtown Knoxville office – Darin Patterson, Rhett Lankford, Hays Culbreth, Matt Dannel, and Carrie Russell.

Patterson is a 20-year veteran and has joined FirstBank Investment Partners as a Managing Director and Senior Vice President. Patterson is a graduate of the University of Memphis. He is a Certified Retirement Counselor, holds a Series 7 and 66 with LPL Financial. Patterson and his wife, Sharon, have two children, DJ and McKenzie. Lankford has been hired as a LPL Financial Advisor and Vice President of FirstBank Investment Partners. Prior to joining FirstBank Investment Partners, he served as a financial advisor at two large regional brokerage firms, as well as regional marketing director for a mutual fund company. Lankford is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He is also a Certified Retirement Counselor, holds a Series 7 and 65 with LPL Financial. Lankford and his wife, Joanna, have been married eight years and have two children, William and Bennett.

Dannel graduated from Tennessee Wesleyan University and holds a Series 7 and 65 with LPL Financial. Prior to joining FirstBank Investment Partners, he served as a Vice President and Financial Advisor at a large regional bank.

Culbreth is a graduate of the University of Tennessee and is originally from Greeneville, Tenn. He has joined FirstBank Investment Partners as a LPL Financial Advisor and Vice President. Culbreth holds a Series 7 and 66 with LPL Financial.

Russell, who has 10 years of experience in the investment industry, joins FirstBank Investment Partners as an Investment Sales Assistant. A native of Greeneville, Tenn., Russell graduated from East Tennessee State University.
