FirstBank Named Among Top Workplaces in Middle Tennessee
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 9, 2018) – FirstBank has been named one of Middle Tennessee’s Top Workplaces by The Tennessean for the fourth year in a row, qualifying it for the award program’s Hall of Fame.
Since 2013, The Tennessean has partnered with Philadelphia-based Energage, an employee research and consulting firm, to determine the area’s Top Workplaces based solely on employee feedback.
“This is a great honor for FirstBank because it is determined by feedback from our associates to an independent third party, and it shows our efforts to make FirstBank a great place to work continue to be successful,” said Chris Holmes, President and CEO. “Having associates who are happy with their work environment and enjoy their jobs translates directly into taking care of our customers and providing the best service possible.”
In all, 112 Middle Tennessee organizations agreed to participate in the employee surveys, which gathered responses on 24 factors, including measuring how well employees are working together for a common cause, confidence in companies’ leadership and values, and being provided opportunities to learn and grow.
