FirstBank Names Moore Vice President, Director of Information Technology

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Jan. 15, 2016) – Tennessee native Dan Moore has been named vice president and director of information technology at FirstBank. He will be responsible for the day-to-day management of IT operations for the $2.9 billion bank.

Moore, most recently an information technology outsourcing account delivery manager for Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services, will direct a team in support of network services for 1,000 associates in 46 FirstBank locations across Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama. During his time with HP Enterprise Services, Moore was engaged on multiple accounts, including Duracell, Nike and Bank of America Enterprise Network Management.

“FirstBank is one of the best banks in the Southeast in terms of customer service, and the information technology team plays an important role in that,” Moore said. “I look forward to being part of a growing bank that has such a great reputation and working with a talented group of associates.” Moore is a graduate of Middle Tennessee State University. He and wife Stephanie recently returned home to Nashville after spending seven years in the Detroit area.
