FirstBank Taps Angel Stinson to Lead Huntsville’s Commercial Banking Team

Seasoned banker and Influential community leader to serve as Market Executive, SVP

HUNTSVILLE, AL (Jan. 9, 2026) – FirstBank is pleased to welcome Angel Stinson to the local team as Market Executive and Senior Vice President, strengthening the bank’s leadership in Huntsville. In her new role, Stinson will lead FirstBank’s Commercial Banking team, driving strategy and collaboration to accelerate growth and expand commercial services across the Huntsville market.

Bringing over 35 years of financial expertise, Stinson has held a wide variety of roles and most recently served as the Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer/Chief Credit Officer at ServisFirst Bank. Over the past 20+ years, she has been passionate about recruiting and mentoring young bankers, as well as actively serving the Huntsville community. Stinson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and management from Birmingham-Southern College.

A North Alabama native, Stinson has lived in Huntsville for 23 years and is a respected voice in the community. She currently serves on the boards of Leadership Greater Huntsville, Habitat for Humanity, the Huntsville Museum of Art’s Skating in the Park, and the AUM Foundation Advisory Committee. In addition, Stinson is actively involved with organizations including the American Heart Association’s Heart Ball Executive Leadership Team, Women’s Economic Development Council, Huntsville/Madison County Leadership Alumni, 100+ Women of Madison County Who Care, and Women in Defense. Outside of her community involvement, Stinson enjoys being outdoors, as well as spending time with friends, family and her husband Skip Stinson.
