FirstBank Welcomes Ron Morrison as South Region Development Officer

Community bank strengthens Birmingham team with 23-year banking veteran

BIRMINGHAM, AL. (Nov. 8, 2023)— Ron Morrison has officially joined the FirstBank Birmingham team, serving as South Region Development Officer. In his new role, Morrison is responsible for leading Alabama’s Huntsville and Birmingham markets and will also oversee the formation of the Regional Board of Directors.

A veteran banker with over 23 years of industry experience, Morrison most recently served as President of Strong Lands, a local land brokerage company. Prior to that, he spent 17 years at ServisFirst serving in various positions, most recently as the head of the private banking department.

Morrison received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama’s Culverhouse School of Business. A lifelong outdoorsman, Morrison currently serves on the board of directors for the National Wild Turkey Federation in Birmingham and the Safari Club International, and he is an advisory board member of Magic Moments.

Morrison currently resides in Birmingham and enjoys spending his free time with his wife Kelly and his dog Otto.
